What We Do
The +ONE model focuses on ten transactions per year. No more, no less. Additionally, we give away one transaction per year to a qualified working-class first time buyer striving to gain a toe-hold in a challenging market.
This model offers several benefits to clients. Firstly, we provide discounted and transparent commission rates, which can significantly reduce your costs. Secondly, we offer focused attention, ensuring that you receive personalized service and attention to your specific needs. Thirdly, we leverage our core competencies to deliver exceptional results. Lastly, we foster synergy, creating a mutually beneficial partnership that ensures both parties are satisfied with the outcome. Unlike other brokerage firms, we only represent clients who we believe are a strong match for our services, ensuring that you receive the best possible service. Additionally, this model allows us to laser-focus our energies on fewer clients, enabling us to deliver superior service while also providing us with the space to explore our own interests and passions.
We achieve this by maintaining low overhead costs. Furthermore, we are not obligated by a parent brokerage to waste energy on unnecessary activities, such as the “fluff” of real estate, including needless meetings, face time, and excessive sales pitches.
This model offers us numerous benefits as well, including a better work-life balance, which leads to increased happiness. It also provides us with more time to spend with my families and loved ones, as well as opportunities to pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors. Additionally, it allows us to prioritize our health and personal growth, which are essential for overall well-being.
What We Believe
We believe that a model that emphasizes more and more doesn’t serve the client but rather the broker. This model only truly benefits the broker if they are myopic in their assessment of success through the lens of economic metrics. (We acknowledge that this is a vastly different perspective on real estate — but after all, that’s the concept.)
We believe that top producer agents are typically “top producers” because they excel at selling themselves to their clients (buyers and sellers), rather than demonstrating superior client representation in transactions. In reality, top agents allocate an excessive amount of their time to self-promotion, frequently leaving property sales to their team of underlings.
We believe that the real estate industry has made significant strides in technology, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency, benefiting consumers as a whole. However, real estate brokers remain indispensable and invaluable assets. Therefore, it’s crucial to collaborate with someone you trust, has extensive experience, demonstrates professionalism, and frankly, isn’t a knucklehead.
We believe that real estate “ownership” is a misconception. We believe that we are merely stewards of property for a period of time. Most properties existed long before our stewardship began and will continue to exist after it ends.
During one’s stewardship, properties offer various benefits. The most evident is shelter. They can also provide tangible benefits like appreciation in value and financial security, as well as tax advantages. We can enhance their value through improvements or expansions. Additionally, they offer intangible benefits, such as providing a platform for people to achieve their goals, raise families, and live their lives.
However, there are also potential disadvantages. Properties can depreciate in value or even create financial risks if not purchased thoughtfully and maintained adequately.
This dynamic relationship of stewardship exists within a larger community, where the steward is a citizen. Being a citizen offers numerous benefits, including security, safety, happiness, and a sense of identity. However, there are also responsibilities. These responsibilities include:

We, as real estate brokers and matchmakers between properties and stewards, also have a responsibility. Our role is not only to facilitate the acquisition or sale of real property, but also to inspire citizens to engage in their communities, foster dialogue, and encourage stewardship. +ONE is the model by which this can occur.
What We Don’t Do
We don’t play the popularity game. This isn’t high school and we aren’t striving to be voted the most popular.
We don’t needlessly market ourselves. You won’t find us on TikTok or Instagram and we won’t send you emails about the best Thanksgiving recipes or reminders about daylight savings time.
